He was always going to be a Dodger. That was obvious.
But here's the thing: already 2 TJ surgeries and turning 30 next season. He will not be a pitcher for the majority of this contract. Most likely only pitches for 3-4 more years. So he'll be the 1B once Freeman is done in 4 or 5 years.
They overpaid but if they didn't someone else would have.
