Disagree. I think the Dodgers will probably recoup that money pretty quick. Ohtani isn’t just an American star. He’s an INTERNATIONAL star. There’s a lot of people in Japan and Korea. Add that to the Dodgers brand. I hate the Dodgers but they were the only ones that made sense

There's no way in hell they are recouping $700 MIL.

They aren't recouping 700 million in jersey sales. And the shine and excitement of his signing will have worn off by May.
