The fleet is the smallest it’s been since WW1, it’s very overstretched, and due to the shipyard closures, we can’t build much very quickly. The Chinese can crank out ships. We can’t.

Aircraft we do still produce in numbers, but they’re one of the few things we still do.

We just don't focus on 3rd World lower-level manufacturing because we're the best economy in the world
