Fredo was such an interesting character too. John Cazale was such a great actor in his limited time, but I don’t know if I could imagine another Fredo.
Every nuance of not being respected and his own terrible decisions, but also kinda lovable in ways. The Hail Mary scene will always get me. Same with Michael and him in Cuba. And as someone said earlier the nod from Michael after mom passing that that’s it for Fredo.
