I passed that way less than 10 minutes after it happened. I was on Hwy 90 headed towards Lafayette and some police, fire & ems were arriving others were en route.
The accident happened at the intersection of the frontage road and one of the larger side roads in that area.
It was a tractor pulling two Davis carts, not an 18 wheeler. No one has ever needed a CDL to drive a tractor - anywhere, ever.
Hyperventilate all you want, this is the internet after all, but at least have your facts straight.

If it was a tractor hauling cane then this whole thread has been fear mongered about 18 wheeler agriculture use. Marci Moches come on get your facts straight before you spew stuff
