Turnpike and isbell aren’t huge draws anymore
I mean they are big draws but in certain places. Isbell played the Orpheum theatre in Nola recently and sold it out but that isn’t the river center arena in Baton Rouge. Turnpike hasn’t played a BR show since late 2018. It was sold out but that was 800 people. Again much different than the river center which I believe holds 8,900 people. Less for concerts of course. But let’s say it’s 6000 people for the April show. That to me is way too big. Lamar Dixon setup for 4000 would have been a better venue or the BR river center theatre which holds 1800 I think. Either way, the prices are too high for the April show and IMO when they go down to $40 you’ll start seeing tickets selling. Right now with the fees for two tickets in nose bleed you’re still seeing $60 plus fees.
