First order of business, and I mean the first damn week, is reversing JBEs EO requiring local governing bodies to vote and approve ITEP exemptions and returning the process back to a rubber stamp state board. Small govt republicans. Y’all know how they are.
Republicans next goal is to reduce the home stead exemption. According to them it’s the fault of those damn poor people with their cheap houses that don’t have to pay any property taxes.
