Yeah, that part seems like a dagger to any non revenue sports. I could see LSU cutting everything but men's football, baseball, and basketball. And having only women's basketball, softball, and gymnastics. They might also keep track and field for both.

But then you're still overpaying the female athletes in those sports or being left behind in men's sports.

There is a reason why the Women's National Soccer team won a World Cup and still got paid less than the men's team that missed the World Cup that same cycle. Nobody wants to pay as much to watch women's sports. It's not very profitable. Title IX is a socialist idea and NIL is a capitalist idea and they mix together about as well as oil and water.
