I don't know about "nothing to do with policy." Things were pretty good under Trump until the Wuhan Flu, which--amazingly--came just in time for election season.

One of the strongest economies and job markets this country has ever had, lowest unemployment for black people ever, re-negotiated trade deals that better situated the U.S., a stronger dollar, energy independence, no new wars, cheaper gas, executive orders setting price controls on lifesaving medications like insulin (which big pharma hated), people's 401Ks were booming, the border was closed and much more secure.

Yeah and Trump choked on big pharma’s dick and ruined the economy. He didn’t do anything to stop the BLM riots. He let thousands of criminals out. Pardoned rappers. Then led the J6ers to their doom and didn’t even attempt to pardon them.

Trump led for 3 quarters and got blown the frick out in the 4th.
