Yup.. had this happen to an old Nissan truck 15 or so years ago. Part was only a couple bucks and was fairly easy to change… was kinda awkward and tight space

I also had this happen to a Nissan hardbody. I used superglue and a nickel to cover the hole.

Some cars you need to be Yoga master to work on stuff under the dash.
