The pointy part of that is what looks like is on the floor. Any idea for a name so I can look up a youtube video of changing it?

Grommet should pop out. May have to use a screwdriver


ETA: I used tape and a nickel for my clutch pedal once.

Brake Pedal Stop Pad Autozone

Follow the brake pedal. There will be a small hole at the end of an arm.

When this happened to me in college, I just taped a penny over the hole. Simple fix.

FYI, they aren't specific to a certain vehicle so you may have to modify it some. I had to use a grinding wheel on my dremel to get it to fit in the hole.
