Alabama QB Tyler Bucher is in the NCAA transfer portal as a men's lacrosse player. He's a former quarterback at Notre Dame. His Alabama bio says he played lacrosse in high school.

A source close to Buchner said he's expected to explore his lacrosse options this spring. He was considered one of the top lacrosse recruits in the country while in high school. He hasn't ruled out a return to football, but is expected to explore lacrosse in the immediate future.

The rare resume of starting at QB for Notre Dame and Alabama but also getting run out of the sport.

My son LOVED playing high school lacrosse

I can't blame this kid, really. If he's come to the realization that he's not going to be an NFL player, why not? You ever look at the NCAA schools that play top-tier Lacrosse? Those are some good degrees, and he'd be playing a game he loved (and by all accounts was very good at).
