Only time I see it being possible is with kids. The second they turn 18 hit the road.

Would be pretty epic to store divorce papers for a decade or more then once they hit 18 whammo...payback is a bitch, hun.

This is so common. Though it is usually after the kid graduates and heads to college rather than the actual 18th birthday.
4 guys I know have done this. All of them had bad behaving wives but did not want to miss out on the kids growing up years.
