They have had a year to prepare him. If people are going to use the 2014 Cardale Jones comparison, then wasn't he prepared to step in and smash Wisconsin within 1 week if JT Barrett being hurt? So, what is FSU's excuse, especially since they have had 2 weeks to show a QB that could run the offense in place of Travis.

Come on...you gotta do better than this.

No they haven't had a year.

The starter gets the most attention and most practice reps. That was Travis most of the year.

Now the second stringer would get that for weeks before playoff game.

Are you new?

So playing Wisconsin on a neutral field is the same as playing your biggest rival in one of the most hostile stadiums in the country?

That is lazy and disingenuous.

They won games with both of their backups and the outcomes weren’t exactly close. Those games may have been played differently if there was a statistical minimum standard they had to achieve, in addition to winning the game. Margin of victory apparently has no bearing for bama, just need to win. Oh and we saw how well prepared their QB2 was.

There is no actual standard that could be used to leave them out. They are being punished for their QB getting hurt. It’s nonsense to suggest they need to over perform because their QB1 was out.
