I don’t see how Bama jumps a team with the same record who beat them.

How do you justify that?

I don’t think they will. But there’s an argument to be made about strength or schedule and strength if conference.

Texas lost to a mediocre Oklahoma team, barely beat unranked K State, probably should’ve lost to unranked Houston, and won their conference championship against a team that lost to South Alabama and UCF. They beat 3 ranked teams all season.

Bama lost early in the season (albeit to Texas) and has wins against 3 teams that are likely to finish in the top 10 and beat the team that was ranked #1 for the entire season in the their conference championship.

Like I said, I don’t think Bama gets in. I can just how they could.

Bama has a higher value top win - Georgia… and a higher value single loss - Texas
