What if 2 refs collide, and both get concussions? Then the other is taken out by a rabid fan?

As a basketball official myself I cannot imagine running 2 man for an nba game. I work up a sweat running 2 man for middle school girls.

And two man crews used to be the norm. Think about trying to keep up with NBA athletes with a two man crew in the Boston Garden with no AC.
