yep. Governors also have the ability to shut down the border and call in the national guard. But Abbott isn’t facing pressure to do this. He’s not facing pressure because he’s being applauded by the right for stickin it to the dems

I'm going to go wwaaaayyyyy out on a limb and say that you probably are capable of finding a couple of brain cells to rub together long enough to remember that, once upon a time, when George Wallace called out the National Guard, President Kennedy simply federalized them.

Tell us, oh wise one, what the frick good it would do to call out the Guard when Biden would just federalize them.

I mean, seriously...you're calling people retarded in this thread, but you have to be pretty fricking stupid to think that any governor can just call out the National Guard to implement a policy that the President opposes.
