You must not have firsthand experience living in L.A. lived there for a few years , and found it to be a very likeable environment. My neighborhood was clean and safe, and city services were efficient and reliable. The people I knew were friendly and hospitable. Great weather, too. Could literally snow ski

I spent several periods in LA, mostly before the permeating filth - mostly between their ears.
along with these nice folks:
