I left 2021 for TN, the day I was showing my house for the eventual buyer, a homeless guy was sleeping under my tree in my front yard. This was a middle class neighborhood in Pasadena by the way. Not South Central.

All are welcome!!! I’d love for that to have happened to one of my super lib friends out there. I wonder if they’d even realize the hypocrisy when they called the cops to get him out.

L.A. is nowhere near as dangerous as New Orleans. I am in both places frequently. Most of L.A. isn't that bad, if not downright nice or very nice. There are a few areas of the huge L.A. metro area where you have to worry about this kind of thing. Those areas are where any large concentration of homeless people are located or where large concentrations of a certain racial demographic are present, which really isn't in most of L.A.

You must not have firsthand experience living in L.A. lived there for a few years , and found it to be a very likeable environment. My neighborhood was clean and safe, and city services were efficient and reliable. The people I knew were friendly and hospitable. Great weather, too. Could literally snow ski
at Big Bear in the morning and be at Venice Beach in the afternoon.
