I would argue that he really doesn't in the short term. This season was getting really big numbers for them. Take the short term loss and watch it pay dividends by bringing new people in.

I didn't watch any barstool outside of PMT when I caught the first season of Surviving Barstool and found Nick to be hilarious - so I started watching the Yak and so on and so on.

I hate the decision to put it behind a paywall because it limits future growth and exposure for the company when they were really breaking through a bit with this show.

I also find it hard to sympathize with "losing money" when Dave is regularly making six figure bets. He could cut off the gambling for a month and use the money he doesn't lose to pay the difference. It'll yield better results down the road by getting more eyeballs on the brand.

It’s going to be $9.99 on PPV for the original schedule with the finale airing on the 13th. They are going to re-run the entire season for free on barstool.whatever the following week.

So if you just HAVE to watch it now (or just want to support barstool) you can pay and stay on schedule. If you don’t care about that, just be patient and you get it for free
