Probably. Absent an absolutely horrible lifestyle, consumption habits, or accident, longevity is largely genetic. By averaging both sets of grandparents' ages at death, I should (theoretically) make it to 83.25.

Nope
Not to long ago, life expectancy was 44
No medical discovery
No diet
No genetics
It had been around for thousands of years but took modern advertising to get it into mass use by humanity.

As for you vs your grandparents, you will probably die sooner. Starting with those born in the late 1930's Americans have adopted less physical jobs and lifestyles. Your grandparents lived longer because they were active longer. Just over 100 years ago agriculture and home work (cleaning, cooking, raising kids) were the #1 and #2 jobs by profession in the USA. Both were hard work and kept you healthier, longer than any trip to a gym.
