BOOM....
* Proven Experience. (Head Coach and DC)
* Knows the SEC and its landscape.
* Knows LSU, its Culture and what's expected. (Was on the Nick Saban staff)
* 2 NC's in a row at Georgia.
* Knows what kind of Defense to run at LSU that would be SEC/National Championship level successful.
* No SEC/LSU "Learning Curve." He'd be off and running right out of the gate.
Pay him what he wants to leave Georgia $$$$$$$$$ and get him in here.
Bo Davis would be Sunshine Pumper "Fine" at DL.
DBU Founder Ron Cooper for CB's and Burrow Finder Bill Busch for Safeties.......

Derrick Mason would be a much better DC at LSU and checks all the boxes. Plus he’s young and can easily communicate with these young athletes. He’s a great recruiter as well. He knows the SEC, has HC experience, has developed good players into stars and he’s smart. Go get the best DB, LB and DL coaches in America to come support him and I bet we’d have a top 10 defense in a short period of time.
