And that is why Latin America is great. It is western with the prices of Asia.
Im open to being wrong on this- but from my research, as well as having traveled extensively in Asia (but not in Latin America)- my understanding is that American dollars go about twice as far in places like Belize, Costa Rica, Mexico et al as they do in America.. but ive seen, and lived, my US dollars go 5-10x further, as i mentioned, in most Asian countries like the Philippines , Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia, Thailand, et al.. Tell me what im missing .

For money purposes yes it is far ahead. However, that is not all that I value. I want to go to a place where I can assimilate, either bring a girl or find a local, I can raise my kids in a good country with western moral values that I align with. A culture that is not complete alien. Asia isn’t even Christian. It just wouldn’t work for me.

I can understand people wanting to expatriate to Asia, Europe, or even Middle East (Dubai, UAE, Qatar) but anyone wanting to go to central or South America might as well just stay in America because all the low iq people from those countries are coming here. You might as well just stay here. It will be the same here or in their native country.
