As a soldier, you don’t get to choose which rules are good. You’re not a policymaker.
There is an expectation that soldiers are combat ready at all times.

I won’t make any character assumptions, but making a video like this is pretty low class.

Outside of being low class or not it is a chargeable offence under the UCMJ. Officers have the very specific Article 88: Contempt Toward Officials. Enlisted soldiers would get charged under Article 134 which is the Swiss Army knife for military prosecutions. I got out before the explosion of social media but from friends and family in now I know it is a big PITA for command.

In my day you would have to have gone out of your way to get an Article 88 charge but today it is as simple as making a dumbass Tweet or YT video.
