Even in zone, Perkins gets caught between choosing to take the QB or stick with his zone assignment. He’s by himself trying to contain the QB and cover the field at the same time. Speights can’t get to the sideline and the end/Jack can’t set the edge if their life depends on it.

And I hate to talk bad about the players, because I can see that they really are trying. The effort is there, and I see their frustration. They’re being let down.
