My daughter had terrible disabling PTSD after being assaulted when she has recovering from a bad concussion. She did that light therapy thing called EMDR or something and it completely changed her life. Starting working within weeks. I was skeptical but that’s what her counselor recommended and it’s highly effective with double blind peer reviewed studies etc.

I am not sure they fully understands how it works but it works. My daughter was at the institutional therapy level, I suspect that the incident on top of a concussion is what made it so bad and that is a major factor causing all the PTSD in IRAQ-Afghanistan etc. All those IED attacks cause a concussion on top of seeing your friends killed etc, trauma.

frick the VA they will get you son killed. Get a private doctor and do treatments they are about 200 a month. Then u can find a lawyer or something to hopefully make them pay. I have great insurance but she picked the one doctor that didn’t take it. It’s still a bargain as she is back in school etc.
