More local businesses getting screwed while mega-corps get bigger. Citizens cheer the demise because they BRIEFLY get lower prices.

I think everything should have a direct-to-consumer option

Competition will still exist between manufacturers so pricing will still have to be competitive

Many dealerships are large mega-corps

If a dealer provided great service and pricing then they have nothing to worry about. They'll still get their customers because they have that value proposition. It should make dealerships actually become more competitive and focus on things their consumers actually care about; not getting lied to and screwed over
