I think maybe 2003-2023 seems longer because we have had phenomenal technological advances at the same moment IQ’s started to drop precipitously and the culture clearly dumbed down. 1985-1995 was cake,-fun , freedom and adventure. 2003-2023 has a weird conformist, unauthentic , dystopian feel of decline and impending doom and that feeling is quickening.
