It took Fritz six years to make Tulane ranked. He didn’t make a bowl game until year three.

He’s making north of 2 mil per year indefinitely now, so why go to a place that will can you in year one?

Firing a coach so soon is a RED flag.

Because they will most likely pay you $20 mil to fire you. And when you are close to retirement age, it makes a ton of sense.

Coach took over an air raid offense program, had a senior quarterback who had been playing air raid since middle school, but decided to scrap an offense that requires niche personnel for a more generic power run spread.

He’s a moron who wanted to be his own man instead of maintaining continuity like he was hired to do.

Not when he took over a senior laden team returning 20 starters off a 9-4 top 25 team and missing a bowl game with them.

It’s not like we fired Leach and went out and hired Arnett. Leach died, we promoted from within hoping to maintain continuity. We didn’t get it. So time to search for a real coach to build the program that isn’t over his head
