She was born 27 weeks premature and just hit about 29 weeks. Shes beens doing so much better each and every day.
I went through the same thing brother. Our first/only daughter was born at 26 weeks and 1 lb. She spent 8 months in the NICU/PICU. Everyone has a different experience in the NICU but if it’s anything like ours you will spend most of your days in the hospital with your infant and it is an absolute roller coaster. Cherish every moment with your baby girl. You will experience the scariest/most joyous times of your life in there and those nurses become like family. My best advice is to be very vigilant and pay attention to how she reacts to everything, positive negative… you will grow a bond and trust with your baby’s nurses and doctors and you become a tremendous resource to them in your baby’s care.

This happened on multiple occasions where we were told to come to the hospital because she wouldn’t make it the night and she overcame every obstacle while she was in there. They’re fighters! No one’s tougher than premie babies. Hang in there
About 20 mins after that she coded, they performed chest compressions and multiple rounds of medications to keep her alive for 15 minutes before performing emergency bedside surgury to release abdominal pressure and stabilizing her.

She's stable for the moment...
God bless!! It truly is great to hear she’s doing better each day. That’s great progress! The bigger she gets the more resilient they become and believe me they’ll bulk her up in no time! Prayers for you and your family
