How hard is it to change rotors on your own?

Not. Just need good ratchet kit, torque wrench, impact wrench/driver for convenience, jacks and stands. Go to Rock Auto site to order parts.

I got this electric impact wrench at Harbor Freight for $45. I have also used it to get oil filter off from underneath my SUV after a oil change business torqued it too tight.

Then I bought a 3 ton jack there that was on sale for $125.

My first time doing it I had a hard time figuring out how the calipers work, but after that it was about an hour per tire to do the rotor and brakes.
