We went on that cruise in the opposite direction...Basal to Amsterdam and stayed the extension in Amsterdam. Lot's of good eats. Our highlights were the Weed/Hemp museum, Anne Frank house, canal boat tour, VanGogh exhibit/museum, trying weed snacks, coffee shop and just walking around. Many of the building are sinking and a lot have been fortified. Lots of cool buildings and house boats. Watch out for bikes...more bikes than people and many riders will run into you or happily deposit you into a canal. I highly recommend the walking tour offered by Viking at the beginning of your visit and trying to getvenue tickets ahead of time. There are lots of other things to do, but just have fun.
