He's a glorified recruiter and more people should be able to see that - especially when his whole model is to use nothing but the transfer portal instead of actually coaching some of the athletes he has

Ed Orgeron got LSU a championship and the greatest college football team of all time in this role. Question is if Deion is humble enough to get the right coordinators and assistants.

I mean, I'm not a huge Deion fan, but he took over a job that went 1-11 last year and really wasn't competitive in 10 of the losses. He did what he needed to do to try and field a more competitive team and he has done that. I think he'll bring in more talent before next year and they'll be incrementally better.

I agree with you to an extent, I don't think he can recruit well enough to have better players than 90% of the teams he plays, so at some point coaching guys up will come into play. I think his ceiling at Colorado might be 7-8 regular season wins? But that's pretty good for where they've been the last 30 years.
