A new coach, a new offensive coordinator, a new coaching staff.
3 first round draft picks, 100M extra cap space.
Oh, and Drew Brees
EDIT Groupie to take some of Haener’s steroids

quote:
Drew Brees
Is who the current offense is built for, thus setting up every subsequent QB for failure.
There are only two current guys who could win super bowls with this staff - Burrow because he’s Brees 2.0 and Mahomes because he can just create on his own like no other.

Elite talent at two positions on each side of the ball.
I know the easy answer would be elite QB, LT, DE and CB (close with Lattimore)
But the Saints are good at every position but not great. The two once great defensive players in Davis and Jordan are older and slower. Thomas on the offensive side has had too many leg injuries, and Kamara is still very good but lacks that high gear he once had.
Saints need to hit on some first rounders to be elite. Missing on Davenport, Ruiz, Turner, and Penning has hurt a lot.
