Do ppl buy watches as investments items?
I don't get it.
I bought a Tag for 1K in 2009 thinking I had to have a nice watch as a dude. It is dumb AF in today's age with phones erc. Plus the weight and size gets in the way from using a kb/m. I end up just taking it off while worming. Looks like you are trying to impress other men.

Some do but it is a very small percentage of owners and a very small percentage of watches.
People like Mike Woods have made a lot of money on collecting watches, he is a very serious Rolex collector particularly MilSubs, Submariners and Sea Dwellers:
The Milsubs the the picture below alone are worth north of $2 million.
I have made a few dollars over the years but it was just blind luck not a solid collecting strategy.
