Any tips on getting this shite to really start draining.
yes drink a lot of orange juice. wait 20 to 30 minutes and have tissue ready.

this will not cure the infection but it will drain a lot of snot.

if that doesn't work, add half cup or more apple cider vinegar to orange juice. I guarantee it will cause snot to pour from your nostrils.

still must use something strong to cure infection.

forget that neti pot nonsense or nasal sprays or sudafed(claritin D) doesn't work on real infections.

ALSO QUIT DRINKING MILK OR CONSUMING HEAVY DAIRY PRODUCTS. just trust me.

Sterile saline to irrigate your sinuses- invert your head, shoot a flush in one nostril, let it sit in your head (sinus cavity) about 20 seconds, blow it out the other nostril- into a sink or similar, don't try to use tissues.
Do this at least 3-4 times, turning your head different directions so you can feel the saline working around in there.

The key with sinus issues is to get the majority of the snot out. There will be some seriously nasty shite in there, and antihistamines will just dry it out and turn it into a brick. Keep doing it until you're clear.

Once it's clear, the saline will draw fluid out, shrinking inflamed sinus membranes.

I've dealt with sinus and lots of snot most of my life, a lot of the meds work ok but not great. There is just too much snot for it to work, until you clear it all out.

Once it's clear your natural defenses can work on what little is left, and any meds work a lot better.
