How much of this is East Coast elitism in the head offices of CBS?
So what if they will get more potential viewers in the East and Midwest...how many people will actually watch. People do and will watch in the SEC footprint.

Other than the length, they were so damn well done. Going to really let it sink in this weekend that it'll be our last regular season night game on CBS ever. Those are just the fricking best.

The FOX coverage of college football is terrible. Nothing they ever cover has the "big game" feel of CBS or even ABC. It's slightly better than the CW, but just slightly.

To me, it seems like the SEC won again. Sure CBS was good 10-20 years ago, now people want to watch multiple games at the same time. I’d bet the SEC exposure grows a lot, not so much the Big 10. The non football big 10 teams get hosed. What’s the cost of sending the softball team coast to coast?
Lastly, it’s all a temporary measure until there is 1 super football conference. With the NIL, I don’t know how the big 10 and SEC don’t merge in the next 10-15 years.
There can be only one…
