Why hasn't Miles hired Chavis? Tuberville will if
he gets MS job!

Orgeron is promoting himself,he's never been a DC before and failed as a coach!

yes he has. he was his own DC at OM his first 2 yrs. his D pretty much stunk. the stats don't lie.

failed as a coach!

and as a DC. 10-25 record and had more losses each yr. than Cut had in his worst season.

I think this DC hire will say alot about Miles and where this program is going....very important to get it right. But wait too long and your guy may go somewhere else. Eager to see what he does....

which to me, is all the more reason to be deliberate.

maybe he's looking at someone who has a game around Jan.1. maybe he can't act officially until afterwards. i don't know. i suspect there will be some movement made before then, but who knows?

Don'tlet Bebe record at OLE Piss fool you. He would be a greast addition to our staff and could sway recruits with his resume....USC DL coach, DL coach in the NFL, his freeakin craziness is just what we need on def., I would hate to have to recruit against him if he go to Tennessee.

It’s called due diligence. It’s his job to be thorough and not jump on the first guy that becomes available. There apparently are talks happening on several fronts. But yeah, let’s go with your idea and make a knee jerk decision.

Have you looked at Chavis record as a DC?
He's proven, thats not a Kneejerk reaction! Tenn. was second in the SEC in D this year.
If we delay we will lose him.

it's not. he was a complete failure as a HC and as his own DC at OM...hence, he was fired.

not to mention his stint at the U. yes, i agree he would be a solid hire as a DL position coach at LSU. but, how wouldn't that be at best a lateral move (and that's a stretch coming from the NFL)? what bones would Les have to throw? an Asst. title? what else?

you mean the shaved gorilla act? the one where he's amped up on redbull, diet-coke, and cracklin?
