My granddaughter is part hispanic. I had this conversation with her, shes elite academically.

She would rather rise on her own merit.

Does she put down that she's Hispanic? Though she wants to do it on her own merit, if she puts Hispanic because she is part, she by default will benefit from this DEI garbage.

I've the same discussion with my kids. I'm Isleno and have told my kids they can claim Hispanic. They are unsure about it so they don't check the box. My point is you use it to beat these DEI asses at their own game.
