It would take longer than that to get enough people hired to do the jobs.

You are talking about starting over from scratch. There are thousands of employees at each facility.

When we started up, a hiring class consisted of no more than 30 to 50.
It will take months to get it up and running.

I know yall think robots build cars and stuff, and in some areas they do, but outside of body assembly and paint, humans do most of the work of putting cars together.

To think you can just restart a huge assembly plant like this with thousands of new employees in a few weeks is just silly.

FWIW I'm no fan of the UAW, I just have 20 years experience in this industry.
