You recommended two good knives btw ... but, as you and I both already stated, those are not for 10 and 11 year old kids.

Currently rotate between a benchmade bugout and a leatherman skelatool just depending on what I think I will get into that day.
I had a case trapper that was given to me by my pawpaw that I lost at my parents house during Katrina. I have avoided buying one cus I felt agravated by not still having that on but probably need to buy one to pass down to my kids.
As much as I like a bugout or carbon fiber handle ZT they just don’t have that same heirloom knife look and feel of say a case or ol timer .
