re: Was Troy Aikman overrated?

It’s often a favorite American pastime to tear down/belittle the accomplishments of others. Just a weird feature in our society.

I would imagine any of the actual Cowboys players of that era would look at some football fan asking this question like he/she was nuts.

Aikman was a hellaciously accurate passer. An absolute competitor and virtual coach on the field. He was exactly the type of QB and most especially the type of leader that that particular Cowboys team needed to function at the level they did and win.
