I look at it like this, the big media cameras are not in Louisiana and if there is a player who comes along quietly but has similar size and abilities then there isn’t much difference.
Look at Smith for example, you telling me that he isn’t the most gifted player on this team? Of course he is and he is still a young man like the rest of them. He still needs training, he needs technique, he needs consistency, and he needs to watch what he does with his body. It’s about developing these young men into men. When they hit that point, there isn’t much difference at all.
These guys don’t come here and hit a wall. They continue to grow and get better. Some guys take a little longer to bloom but when they do, it closes those gaps they had in HS quickly. So stop judging these guys from HS and let’s see what happens when they ready to play ball.
