I’m not 100% sure what you’re asking, but a .22 LR unsuppressed is around 140 db, with a suppressor it’s around 112 db. A .223 unsuppressed is around 155 db, suppressed is around 130 db.
My suppressed .223 will still make my ears ring sometimes, but probably because I already have tinnitus. Bolt actions will make suppression more dramatic in any caliber.

That's what I was asking I think. I have heard that in 9mm the 147 gr is a better suppressed round vs 115gr. It's already under the sound barrier any way at 900-950 fps range.
