His family moved from an apartment zoned for SP to one zoned for Thompson.

Hard to believe there isn’t a rule preventing an in-season transfer and play, but there isn’t.

The cases I can think of for this in LA involved someone flipping from LHSAA to MPSA for immediate play.

At least one case due to being kicked out of a school (an accomplishment given what school it was) and the other case being someone butthurt they lost their starting job.

This was how Porpst did it at Hoover, they would go,find kids from the west side of Bham in peewee leagues the. set mom up,with an apartment in Hoover off Hwy 150. This is just the progression of that. Not to mentions Thompson coach may be a bigger slimeball than Propst

I mean he moved mid year to a new school. Should he play for a school he no longer goes to? Or should he not be allowed to play high school sports because his family moved?

Lol. You can’t make a rule.
