Is Beetlejuice too scary? We used to LOVE that one as kids (except the sceance scene)
Maybe Practical Magic, but that is definitely more of a girl’s type movie

Probably, but she's a candy arse. She made it through OG Ghostbusters I and II and didn't get scared.
It's been so long since I've seen Beetlejuice that I can't remember how much scarier it is. I know the library ghost and the hell hounds from Ghostbusters scared 8 year old me.

Be careful with Beetlejuice. I watched it with my kids 2 Halloweens ago and forgot the rating difference between then and now. He curses in the movie,maybe even an F word, and has hookers on his arms at one point. It might be worth checking in on it before showing it to your little ones.
