Korg Has dropped the price by over $1,000 on these.

$1699 is likely MSRP and VERY VERY VERY artificially inflated price for an Asian-made ES clone (even MIK by WMIC) in today's market in the context in which this ad presents the deal.
Today's MSRPs are useless other than to say $1700 MSRP transcribes to somewhere around $1K-1200 street/MAP.
So that being said, $549 is a nice overstock sale price for what's basically an Epiphone Sheraton with soapbars and a different head and brand name.
