I'll never understand this. We have in-laws in town who are of course thrilled to see their grand baby, but they also have lives. It was not even a thought in my mind that we would rely on them on the daily for child care. Perhaps not everyone has the ideal circumstances, but I don't know how anyone can assume grand parents will just step in on the daily.
