I find it hard to believe that anyone in SOF, especially Delta, never fired a shot in anger. We have regions on the globe that are free fire zones.

And this folks is why you don't listen to the internet. MSgt. Vickers was an integral part of Operation Acid Gambit and was part of the Squadron that performed the hostage rescue of Kurt Muse from the prison. He went on to multiple days of combat in Panama and was also involved in various other documented combat actions.
