Sounds to me like the target was not the USS Carney or Israel ….. but instead the USS Gerald Ford CSG ….. jmo
USS Carney was deployed in the Red Sea as part of a picket line, or screening defense for the USS Ford ….. and it did the job effectively this time
it is worth remembering that China is the #1 investor in Yemen, and has a geopolitical relationship in Yemen driven in part by a very nearby Chinese navy military base in Djibouti
